Full Description
CULTURE.... MUSIC and CHILDREN The creation of the National symphony Orchestra is a landmark in the cultural development of a young country. One of the most important functions of such an orchestra is to teach our children musical appreciation. New Zealand's National Symphony Orchestra plays 'Fingal's Cave' and 'Handel in the Strand' for secondary school pupils, with explanatory comment by Conductor Anderson Tyrer.
