Full Description
The isolated crayfishing settlement of Ngawi is at the eastern end of Cook Strait - one of the wildest stretches of water on earth. This film looks at the livelihood of the crayfishermen and their families in this small, stark settlement, and at the past of shipwreck and legend along the rockbound coast from Ngawi to the lighthouse at Cape Palliser. A companion to the international award winning 'Coal Valley'.
