This film is presented by New Zealand National Film Unit. The title of this newsreel is NEW ZEALAND CELEBRATES VE DAY and it showed people were gathered at the front of the government building in Wellington and a General claimed the end of European War. Meanwhile, the Prime Minister gave speech to public. After that, the film showed the national ceremony on the streets of Wellington and Christchurch.
