N.Z.'s NORTHERNMOST TERRITORIES - MEDICAL AIR-LIFT FROM THE TOKELAU ISLANDS 254 ft An extra polio ward is completed in Samoa, while nurses are flown north to the Tokelau Islands to bring back patients. Physiotherapist Miss Wilson, of Wellington Hospital, attends to patients on the islands and supervises their transfer to Apia Hospital for specialist treatment.

NEW ZEALANDERS IN MALAYA - JUNGLE PATROL BY S.A.S. SQUADRON 433 ft At Kuala Lumpur the C.O. of the New Zealand S.A.S. Squadron briefs Corporal Huia Woods for a jungle patrol. For five days they patrol the Malayan jungle in search of terrorists, and then receive an air-drop of food, mail and ammunition.
