A view of a new block of flats in Wellington turns out to be a scale model made by Ben Van Dorsselaer, Dutch-trained model maker in the Government Architect's office. At Whakamaru the power house is going up and the dam is nearing its full height. Work is going on also at the Waipapa and Ohakuri sites, and aerial views show progress at Atiamuri and completed dams at Arapuni Karapiro and Maraetai.
