LAMINATED BRIDGE At Waipa Mill near Rotorua, softwood timber is being laminated into beams to be used for stringers in a highway bridge near Te Puke. BENMORE POWER Before the Prime Minister presses a button to send electricity through the Cook Strait Cable, the history of Benmore hydro-electric station is briefly traced.
