RACING PEDAL CARS The Scouts in the Wanganui district build and race pedalcars, which can do up to 25 m.p.h. ON AUCKLAND'S DOORSTEP On Pakatoa Island, 22 miles from Auckland, a holiday resort with cottages and flats is being built to cater for20,000 people a year. The island will be served by two hydrofoils, one of which is in operation now, providing a sightseeing service on Hauraki Gulf.
