N.Z. HELPS MALAYA. 92 ft. New Zealand's Prime Minister opens the agricultural faculty building of the University of Malaya. This building is a gift from New Zealand to Malaya under the Colombo Plan.

KELSTON SCHOOL VISITS MT. RUAPEHU. 102 ft. Children from the Kelston School for the Deaf are treated to a weekend at the Chateau by the Auckland Junior Chamber of Commerce. For many it is their first experience of snow and they make the most of it.

BADMINTON IN MALAYA. 133 ft. In Malaya the New Zealand women's badminton team, on their way home from the U.S.A. where they came third in the World Series, play against the Malayan team.
