A voyage from New Zealand to Manila, Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Japan by a cargo vessel of a shipping line that runs regular services. The ship carries frozen meats, dairy produce, wool, tallow, and fruit. While cargo is being unloaded at each port of call, the New Zealand film men visit some of the shops, factories, farms, and homes that are the final destination of these New Zealand exports.
