A look into the future reveals a list of 300 New Zealanders who are to die in road accidents in one year, 'unless we all take special care on the roads'. Presents from a Christmas tree are being handed out, but Mary is not there to receive hers - she was one of those on the list of names. A series of actual car crashes, filmed within a few minutes of the accident, gives a grim picture of the fruits of carelessness.
